The vacancy rate declined markedly to 17.6%, from 19.8% at the end of June, while the volume of immediately available office space fell by approximately 14,100 sq m to around 114,900 sq m. The quarterly improvement reflected strong occupier activity and absorption of existing availability. Despite the decline, occupiers continued to benefit from a relatively broad choice of office options, particularly in older buildings and less central locations.
