In the first quarter of 2021, contracts for 98,300 sq m were signed on the regional market, reflecting a 55% decrease y/y.

 

In the first quarter of 2021, the lease structure in regional cities significantly differed from historical trends. Pre-let transactions, which took place only in two regional markets (Lodz, Tri-City), accounted for only 8% of the total regional demand. Tenants were much more willing to sign pre-let deals in 2020 (27% of demand) and in 2019 (30%). Renewals still had the highest share in demand (almost 45%). New contracts also represented a significant share (over 33%).
